  • Whites aren't white Noritsu QSS 3211

Our noritsu 3211 has been producing yellowish whites for a while now. We have boosted the chemical, changed out the bleach, but they still come out a dingy yellow instead of bright white. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you replaced the STB solution?
What paper type are you using?

Noritsu Help. thank you for the suggestion we are replacing the stabilizer right now. Hoping this solves our problem. To answer your question we are using Kodak Edge paper

Most likely it will be dirty STB that is the cause.
The other possible cause is if the paper is very old or has been stored in the hot for a long time.
It is unlikely to be CD contamination as contaminated CD tends to make the whites cyan on Kodak paper.

Note: Kodak paper will never be as white as Fuji paper is, just in case you are comparing your prints to Fuji paper prints.
